All 2020 Pirates games will be televised, and the Penguins return Tuesday against the Philadelphia Flyers for an exhibition game
AT&T SportsNet, the official TV home of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins, announced today its schedule of live regular season games starting with the Pittsburgh Pirates Opening Day Friday, July 24th against the St Louis Cardinals. All Pirates games will be televised on the network this season. AT&T SportsNet is also announcing the schedule for the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2020 Stanley Cup qualifiers series against the Montreal Canadiens starting Monday, Aug 3rd, as the network will produce and carry at least two of the qualifier series games.
A few of these games will be scheduled to occur at the same time but this does not change AT&T SportsNet’s commitment to making these games available to fans of both teams. The Network will produce and distribute both LIVE games, carrying one on the primary channel, and the other game on a new secondary channel (Pittsburgh2). Each telecast will include pre and post-game programming. More information on the secondary channel to be released soon.
